Long-Distance Relationship And Does It Work

Last Updated on May 30, 2023 by Adeymius

Hello everyone, and I hope everyone is having a fantastic day. The other day I was surfing social media on the line…lol. I noticed something odd on Instagram. People were looking for love in America from across the globe in another country. Now I’m not sure about you but how does that even work, I mean the formalities of just meeting someone on a first date go out the door. Rather, a semi-personal approach, through video chat online. You wanna what? Now maybe it’s just me but, anyone can pretend to be someone they’re not…that can happen here in the states too but it goes to say that first impressions no longer matter, or does it?

Traveling across the globe is extremely expensive and not to mention the time it takes to schedule a meeting with someone you have never met in person. Ugh, what if it doesn’t work out when they first meet you. You know sometimes what you see on a picture or a video is not the same as in-person…just saying.

Either way, being in a long-distance relationship is, lonely. You don’t get to spend any time with that person as much as you want to, it kind of sucks to be honest. You can’t just get up and say “I’ll be right there.” So eventually someone is going to have to cave and say I’ll move there to be with you. It takes some hardcore sacrifice and getting used to another strange land, culture, language if and customs. The best advice is just to think about it and if a change is something you’re looking for and you have nothing tying you down wherever you’re at…then go for it. Happy Trails, and until then this is “Intern” with articles “From the Heart.”

Don't forget these

She doesn’t see me but I see her

"Today, for sure, I'm going to ask her...I don't know what to ask her." My day starts with the usual, getting up, washing up, eating and so boring right I know. Let's just skip...
