Early in the morning an accident with two motor vehicles occurred at the intersection of Alamo Ranch and Westwood which caused power outages through out areas of Alamo Ranch due to a collision to the power lines. The power outage involved a telephone pole, which created an explosion and small brush fire.

Fire Rescue and EMS along with Sheriffs dept. were dispatched and involved for traffic control and rescue efforts. No fatalities and no other injuries reported. Great efforts by our SAFD to control the fire that started by the electrical explosion, were controlled, confined and extinguished in the small area as seen in the photos.
